1. Acceptance of Terms
Your use of the site or request for services constitutes acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site and refrain from submitting inquiries.
2. Services
We provide consulting, engineering advisement, code delivery, and technical leadership services focused on mobile platforms, Expo modernization, DevOps guardrails, and AI-assisted workflows. The precise scope, deliverables, and success metrics for each engagement are defined in a mutually executed statement of work or proposal.
3. Engagement Process
We typically begin with a discovery call to align on goals, success indicators, timeline, and resourcing. Once commercial terms are agreed, the project will run according to the documented plan. Any changes to scope, budget, or timeline require mutual approval.
4. Fees & Payments
Fees, billing cadence, and payment methods are outlined in the relevant statement of work or invoice. Unless stated otherwise, invoices are due within 14 days. Late payments may incur interest or result in a pause of services. You are responsible for bank fees or currency conversion charges associated with your chosen payment method.
5. Refunds
As noted in our Refund Policy, work begins as soon as a deposit is received, so fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact billing@christianmontalban.dev and we will investigate promptly.
6. Intellectual Property
Unless specified in writing, you own the project deliverables produced during the engagement. We retain the right to reuse non-confidential frameworks or accelerators developed independently prior to the engagement. We may reference anonymized outcomes in case studies with your consent.
7. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to protect each other’s confidential information and limit use to fulfilling the project. This includes technical details, business plans, customer data, and any proprietary material shared during the engagement.
8. Disclaimers & Liability
Services are provided "as-is" without warranty of uninterrupted operation or guaranteed outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is capped at the amounts you have paid for the relevant engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. For international clients, we will collaborate to select mutually acceptable venues for dispute resolution. The parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation before initiating formal proceedings.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms as our services evolve. Material changes will be posted here with an updated revision date. Continued use of the site or services after changes take effect indicates acceptance.
